AUDITIONS for Speaking Roles

AUDITIONS: Saturday, July 19

We hold auditions for speaking roles before camp begins. This will allow us to get started with rehearsing the production on the first day of camp.  ALL STUDENTS REGISTERED FOR CAMP WILL BE IN THE SHOW whether they chose to audition or not. In order to be considered for a speaking role in the cast, your child must audition. The audition is a simple process. Your child will be asked to sing a song of their choice a capella (without piano or tracks). This can be as simple as Happy Birthday or Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, or any other song they prepare. In order to plan your time that day we ask that you sign up for one of the hour slots in the sign up genius link here.

The Aladdin Kids Summer Camp at The Brecksville Theatre

The Aladdin Kids Summer Camp at The Brecksville Theatre offers an exciting and creative experience for children in grades Kindergarten through 8th. Campers will immerse themselves in the magic of Disney’s Aladdin, engaging in fun-filled activities that include acting, singing, dancing, and storytelling. With morning and afternoon sessions available, the camp provides flexible options for families. Morning sessions run from 8:30AM – 11:30AM and afternoon sessions are from 12PM – 3PM. Performances will be August 1st and 2nd at 6PM (for the morning group) and 8PM (for the afternoon group). Under the direction of Jen Sindyla and her team of experienced teachers, kids will explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop teamwork skills, all while bringing this beloved story to life on stage. Join us for a summer of imagination, performance, and fun! (Camp is July 21st-August 1st.)
