A Year with Frog and Toad is a whimsical musical that tells the story of two cheerful but distinctly different amphibian best friends: the upbeat, outgoing Frog and the cautious, curmudgeonly Toad. Rooted in Arnold Lobel’s classic books, the musical tracks their seasonal escapades—from springtime waking to winter sledding—showcasing how deeply they care for one another despite occasional tiffs, celebrating the value of their unique differences. Children and adults alike with relish in the joyful vignettes which feature catchy tunes, funny dialogue, and bright, memorable characters.
